SCHOLARSHIPS

Records show that scholarships were offered as early in the club's history as 1929.  Since 1966, over $150,000 has been awarded to college level artists and some high school students.  In recent years, the club has held auditions and awarded 8 to12 scholarships, averaging a total of $7,000 each year.  Currently, awards are given to promising college and graduate student musicians from the metropolitan area following a professionally judged audition process. Scholarship funds are raised through an annual Benefit Concert, endowments, donations, and memorials.  All contributions are tax-deductible.

The next scholarship auditions will be held Saturday, March 14, 2015 at UMKC's Grant Hall. Auditioning students must apply and be approved.  Contact us for more information.
